This Management Policy (hereinafter referred to as “Management Policy”) regarding the use of the game service Play Together (hereinafter referred to as “Game”) provided by HAEGIN Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Company”) has been written with the purpose of providing a fairer and equity-based service and protecting the rights of users. It is recommended that users carefully review the Management Policy as it includes items to note while using the service.
Article 1 - General Provisions
1. The purpose of this Management Policy is to reasonably and fairly address issues that may arise within the game service. It contains a detailed set of rules to follow when the Company operates the service and users engage in the service.
2. The Company may modify the Management Policy to provide a better service and will share those changes through a user-friendly method (which includes but is not limited to, in-game notices and community notices).
3. The role of this Management Policy is to supplement the details that have been decided in the Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as “Terms of Service”) as well as define the operating standards of the Company, which includes but is not limited to, sanctions for users’ violations of the Terms of Service and procedures for appealing sanctions.
4. Details unaddressed in this Management Policy will be overseen in accordance with the Terms of Service, relevant laws, and other general conventions.
Article 2 - The Duties and Rights of a User
1. A user may use the content provided in the Game, be it for a fee or free of charge, in accordance with the Terms of Service. However, the Company reserves all rights to all content within the Game (which includes but is not limited to, in-game characters and items) with the exception of the rights stated in the Terms of Service.
2. A user has the right to inquire the Company's Game Support for solutions regarding issues that may occur while playing the Game.
3. A user must be well-acquainted with and abide by the Terms of Service and Management Policy while playing the Game.
4. A user must never perform any acts that are prohibited in the Terms of Service and Management Policy, may bring harm to other users, or negatively impact the order maintained within the Game.
Article 3 - The Duties and Rights of the Company
1. The Company, in part or in whole, may restrict access to or temporarily suspend the Game if an abnormal occurrence has been found with the Game internally or externally.
2. The Company, in accordance with the Terms of Service and Management Policy, may limit the usage of the Game for a user who has violated the Terms of Service and Management Policy.
3. The Company is obligated to provide a stable gameplay environment to its users.
4. The Company abides by its own Terms of Service, Management Policy, and Privacy Policy.
5. The Company can receive reports of any type of bugs that may occur within the Game from its users and strive to verify and resolve them.
6. The Company is obligated to protect the personal information of users (which includes but is not limited to, detailed personal information and passwords) in their possession. The Company shall not use or modify the personal information of its users beyond the purpose of collection, nor shall it disclose such information without authorization. However, if there is a legal obligation to disclose a user’s personal information, such as a formal request for cooperation from a judicial body, the Company may provide it within the scope of that obligation.
7. The Company shall respond to the inquiries and requests of its users as kindly and promptly as possible.
However, aside from game-related information that has already been made public, the Company may reply with a limited answer or no answer at all regarding future updates or certain details that cannot be revealed due to the nature of the Game.
Game usage history is not provided unless obligated under current laws or the situation has been acknowledged as an exceptional circumstance by the Company.
8. The Company maintains neutrality and does not intervene in disputes between its users. However, if the dispute goes against the Management Policy or is deemed as hindering operations, the Company may review the dispute from a neutral standpoint and conduct necessary measures.
Article 4 - Account Management
1. A user must take responsibility regarding the management of their personal account and acknowledge that the Company cannot assist with any issues that may occur due to their carelessness.
2. A user cannot receive the Company’s support regarding any issues that may occur by (including, but not limited to) sharing their personal information, account, or items, as well as acts of transferring or buying and selling through unauthorized methods.
3. The Company does not request the personal information of its users. Users need to be cautious of any extrusion of their personal information from those who impersonate a Company official.
Article 5 - Criteria Regarding Usage Restriction and Sanctions
1. The detailed criteria regarding service usage restrictions for a user are as follows.
1) Types of Sanctions
① Forced Name Change: If information that is public within the Game, including, but is not limited to, the in-game playable character’s name, pet’s name, self-introduction within the profile, writings on in-game boards, and other information that is made public within the Game or a community managed by the Company is applicable to the Name Management (Restriction) Criteria in Subparagraph 3, the Company may modify the text into something arbitrary by force.
② Data Reset: The Company may terminate (or modify) the game data, in whole or in part, which were directly or indirectly acquired through prohibited activities (hereinafter "illicit gains"), which includes but is not limited to, in-game currency, items, achievements, and stats.
A. If the game information that is not illicit is inseparable from the illicit gains despite reasonable efforts made by the Company, the combined game information, in whole or in part, may be subject to termination (or modification).
B. If estimating the illicit gains proves to be difficult, the Company may establish reasonable and equitable criteria and terminate (or modify) the game information, in whole or in part.
③ Suspension: Suspension: An account may be restricted either permanently or for a set period of time regarding its usage of the game service.

3) Name Management (Restriction) Criteria
① Any name that may offend others.
② Any name that may include profanity or expletives, advertisements, suggestive or lewd context.
③ Any name of a discriminatory nature regarding race or gender.
④ Any name that includes defamation of a certain individual, region, group, or religion.
⑤ Any name that may contain the name of or is deemed as impersonating a company, games, or associated original works.
⑥ Any name that may be recognized or mistaken as someone who operates the Game, such as, but is not limited to, a member of the Company’s management staff.
⑦ Names created using spaces and special characters intentionally designed to exploit the company's system.
⑧ Any name that is deemed as created with the intent to entice cash transactions for items and accounts or suggesting cash transactions.
⑨ Any name that is noticeably intentional in glamorizing, including, but is not limited to, a name of an antisocial nature, an antisocial figure, or an antisocial group.
⑩ Any name that is deemed as infringing the copyright of a third party’s brand, service, or copyright.
⑪ Any name that is deemed as advertising a specific product or site (including non-profit sites).
⑫ Any other instances of names that may be deemed as defeating the purpose of the Company’s Terms of Service and Management Policy.
2. Regardless of the detailed criteria under Paragraph 1, the Company may reduce or increase the sanctions depending on the severity of a user’s violation of the usage restrictions in accordance with the following subparagraphs.
1) Two or more sanctions may be applied if one act has been discovered to violate multiple usage restrictions.
2) If the severity of the usage restriction violation is considered minor, the Company may decide to sanction the user with a simple warning measure.
3) If the severity of the usage restriction violation is considered major (such as, but not limited to, repeated violations or seriously impacting the Game environment or other users negatively), the Company may take action that aggravates sanctions up to the maximum level.
(e.g.) A permanent suspension, regardless of whether or not a user has ever violated the Terms of Service or the Management Policy before, may be applicable if the exploit of a bug has resulted in severe disruption of the Game’s balance.
3. Apart from the sanctions of the detailed criteria in Paragraph 1, the usage of the service, in whole or in part, may be restricted as a temporary measure during the period required to investigate the facts and determine which measures will be taken.
4. In accordance with the criteria detailed in Paragraph 1, a user may lose the right to participate in an event and even be disqualified from winning depending on the sanctions that are applied.
5. Even if it is not detailed within the criteria in Paragraph 1, a user may be subject to sanctions if they have negatively impacted the Game or other users through their actions.
6. Apart from this Management Policy, a user may be subject to civil/criminal penalties due to, but is not limited to, an additional request for investigation if a user’s actions have violated the current laws.
7. A user may appeal in accordance with the following subparagraph procedures if they have been restricted from using the service.
1) File an appeal via one-on-one inquiry through the in-game [Game Support].
2) The appeal request is valid only if submitted within 15 days from the starting date of the restrictions.
Article 6 - Recovery Criteria
1. Restoration, including, but not limited to, of lost account information (hereinafter referred to as “game information and other aspects”) because of the Company’s intent or negligence may be possible in accordance with the Terms of Service.
2. Recovery of game information and other aspects is impossible if it is lost or modified due to the user's willful misconduct or out of negligence as listed in the following subparagraphs.
1) Any details that cannot be confirmed based on the objective resources (data) in the Company’s possession.
2) Loss due to failure to check the information that has been announced (in a notice or the Management Policy).
3) Loss due to a user’s willful misconduct or negligence.
4) Loss due to violation of the Terms of Service and Management Policy of the service.
5) Loss due to an issue with an installed program on a user’s device or a network connection issue.
6) Loss due to, but not limited to, the user changing, resetting, or losing their current device, as well as number changing.
7) Loss due to termination of the cache or data currently in use while using a guest account.
8) When a user loses or withdraws their linked account (Google, Game Center, email, Facebook).
9) An account that’s been terminated in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Article 7 along with other accounts simultaneously.
10) When an account has been suspended due to a transaction cancellation by a minor.
11) When an item owned by a restricted account has been terminated due to the passing of its expiration date.
3. A recovery request must abide by each and every one of the following subparagraphs and may not be processed normally if a user fails to abide by the procedure.
1) A user must request the recovery within seven days from the date of the issue to the Company through means, including, but not limited to, Game Support or a one-on-one inquiry.
2) Application regarding the previous subparagraph must be done directly by the owner of the account who is experiencing the issue, and recovery is impossible if a third party (another individual) or legal representative applies instead.
3) When requesting, a user cannot revise or cancel their request and must provide accurate information regarding the damage, which includes but is not limited to, when the issue occurred and a list of the damages as a result after the recovery request has been accepted.
4) Resources that have been acquired from the point where the user requested the recovery up to its completion such as, but not limited to, Game Information, may be terminated or modified upon completion of the recovery and is impossible to recover. Therefore, it is recommended that the user does not proceed with engaging in any of the content related to the issue.
Article 7 - Game Management Criteria
1. Criteria for Exhaustion of Gems
1) Paid Gems may be acquired through methods, including, but not limited to, transactions, and free Gems may be acquired through methods, including, but not limited to, gameplay and event rewards.
2) The Company manages both paid and free Gems separately, and if a user possesses both paid and free Gems, the paid Gems are prioritized for expense when being spent.
2. Criteria for Account Termination
1) For better operation and management of the service, the Company may terminate accounts that meet all of the following criteria.
① An account that last logged in more than 90 days ago.
② An account that has not purchased paid products once or more.
③ An account with an Achievement Level below Level 2.
2) For better operation and management of the service, the Company may arbitrarily terminate accounts that have been registered but never accessed after it has been generated.
3) An account’s data that was terminated in accordance with each subparagraph of Paragraph 2 in Article 7 cannot be recovered.
4) If the data has been terminated in accordance with the criteria for account termination, the Company will notify the termination schedule of the Game Information and details via an advanced notice.
Article 8 - Community Management Policy
1. It is the Company’s principle to not intervene in a dispute amongst users within the community. However, if the dispute amongst users involves an act that violates the Terms of Service and Management Policy or hinders normal service operations of the community, the Company may review the dispute from a neutral standpoint and conduct necessary measures.
2. The Company may delete, move, or reject posts (including, but not limited to, text, graphics, audio, or information comprised of more than one of these elements, such as text, image, or video, posted by a user of the community) and replies within the community of an inappropriate or ill-mannered nature.
3. The Company may operate the official community utilizing a set of guidelines that specify what has been stated in the Terms of Service and Management Policy and may apply restrictions regarding the use of the community or the Game in accordance with said guidelines.
1) Types of Sanctions
① Termination of Posts/Replies: The termination of posts and replies that violate the community guidelines.
② Activity Restriction: The restriction of accounts that violate the community guidelines for a set period which have been highlighted regarding posting and replying.
③ Permanent Suspension: The account is permanently suspended by force from ever using the community.
